The Jamming Dodger Music Club is pleased to have been awarded a grant from the Awards For All organisation. This was to enable us to purchase a portable amplified/public address system for use at the club and for other outside events, or in pubs/clubs.

It was purchased from Music Central, Newport, Isle of Wight, (http://www.musiccentraluk.com) a music shop which has a great range (quality, quantity and price) of guitars, basses, percussion, amplifiers, etc. Both Alan and I have purchased guitars and accessories from them and the service is fantastic. So, it is no surprise that we decided on them when we went to spend our grant! We ended up buying a Carlsbro Traveller amplifier and a couple of Shure microphones, leads and stands.
