10th December 2005 - Early Christmas Bash
We had great Christmas night with snacks and mince pies. The music was, as ever, varied in styles and included Bill Barclays ‘The 12 days of Christmas’, a jammed version of ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Slade, as well as some interesting original Xmas songs played by Alan. Have a good New Year.
See you in 2006!

18th February 2006 - Something new...
This club night saw a Mandola, Banjo and Recorders make and entrance giving a new colour to the musical sounds. We had some lovely English/Irish/Celtic folk music with fiddle, as well as some superb solo guitar work by Josh, on his Jaguar, Fender and Alan dusted off his old ‘red’ resonator guitar and played some slide blues. I (Russell) played fretless bass throughout the evening, busing on the celtic music (quite challenging, as I haven’t played this sort of music for years) and with Alan.
